Hannah was born and raised in Ballinode, County Monaghan. She began her musical education at the age of four learning the whistle and moving onto the piano at the age of six. Her musical journey on the harp began at the age of eleven and she has gone on to gain much success in this area. She has played for President of America Joe Biden, she has performed on TG4, RTÉ, the Ray D’Arcy Show and on FleadhTV. She has performed at An Chúirt Chruitireachta, Cairde na Cruite’s International Harp Festival, the Edinburgh International Harp Festival, the World Harp Congress 2022 in Cardiff, Féile na Tána and the National Lottery Good Causes Awards 2018 on TV3. She has played as a support act for Téada in An Táin in 2022, and for Laoise Kelly and Tiarnán Ó’Duinnchinn in the Oriel Gaol Dundalk in 2022. In 2022, Hannah was awarded 2nd place in Senior Irish Harp Slow Airs at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann in Mullingar. She was Ulster Champion in Sean-Nós Singing and Irish Harp Slow Airs at Fleadh Uladh 2023. She was Ulster Champion in Irish Harp Slow Airs at Fleadh Uladh 2024.
She also placed 3rd in Sean-Nós Singing at Fleadh Uladh 2022 in Dromore. She was awarded the opportunity to perform as a Sean-Nós singer and to perform her own poetry at Cúirt Eigse alongside Eiléan Ní Chuilleanáin as part of Seachtain na hEigse 2023 at Trinity College Dublin. She performed at Cúirt Eigse again in 2025.
A passionate advocate for the Irish language, Hannah was an ambassador for Trinity College’s Irish Language scheme 2022-23 and from 2024-25, and regularly attends protests and events promoting our Irish language. She was a member of Trinity's Aontas na Mac Léinn's Coiste Gaeilge, as well as an Irish language journalist for the University Times. A proficient poet and writer, Hannah has won awards at Trócaire Poetry Ireland for her poetry and has had her writing published in The Eagle Law Gazette, the Trinity’s Attic Annual Publication and in Trinity’s Tuathal magazine. She has also sat on the Senior Editorial Boards of the Eagle, as well as the Dublin University Journal of Criminology. She has recently finished her studies in Law at Trinity College Dublin.
As a recent graduate, Hannah has been working as an Irish harp tutor with the Ring of Gullion Comhaltas Branch and as a Musician Educator with Music Generation Cavan-Monaghan. She organised and performed at Culture Night 2025 and the Drumlin Storytelling Festival alongside Colum Sands and Paddy O'Brien. As a part-time content creator, Hannah enjoys the creative process involved in recording and creating videos to share online. Hannah recently released her debut single 'The Veil Between the Keyhole' on all major streaming platforms. She looks forward to releasing her next single.
Hannah is available to perform and teach as a singer, harpist and pianist..
